Igniting Hope 2023: Building a Healthy Just Community for All

The Buffalo Center for Health Equity is proud to present the sixth annual Igniting Hope Conference on September 29th, 2023. This year's conference “Building a Healthy Just Community for All” is expected to draw over 250 professionals, from across the US, for sessions led by national experts, community leaders, and University at Buffalo faculty.



Featuring: A Discussion with the Family of the late Henrietta Lacks to discuss her legacy and building medical trust where there is a history of research abuse.

In addition to a variety of thought-provoking discussions and presentations, Igniting Hope 2023 provides attendees with the tools needed to create a more equitable and just health outcomes.

Visitors can enter the building through the main entrance at the corner of Main Street and High Street, the back entrance on Washington Street or the entrance on Main and Allen Street.
